Taman Tugu People Library

May 16 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am SMT
Free

Taman Tugu’s People Library is our signature public knowledge-sharing programme, a platform that brings people together through meaningful conversations and real-life experiences.

In conjunction with the International Day for Biological Diversity, this special edition of People Library with KLFestival features voices from the frontlines of conservation. Join Lara Ariffin, filmmaker and Co-founder & President of RIMAU, Dr. Natasha Zulaikha, marine scientist and Co-founder of Coralku, and Puteri Noorlela, Arborist at Raintree Arborist, as they share their personal journeys, insights, and work in protecting Malaysia’s rich biodiversity.

Through this session, participants will gain a deeper appreciation of biodiversity across different ecosystems from forests to oceans and understand the role each of us can play in its preservation. Set within the natural surroundings of Taman Tugu, People Library offers an open space to listen, learn, and engage.

Join us and be part of the conversation with us on 16 May 2026, Saturday, at Taman Tugu. Open to the public, free entry, and walk-ins welcome.
