Synopsis

Tora-san (ATSUMI Kiyoshi) is a traveling salesman who returns home after twenty years and finds his kid-sister Sakura (BAISHO Chieko) is now turning heads. His warm reception soon turns sour when he spoils Sakura’s chances of marriage to a wealthy family and then causes havoc when she starts courting a local printer, Hiroshi. It’s all mirrors Tora-san’s own love life, bumping into childhood friend Fuyuko only to discover the odds are stacked against him. All he can do is hit the road once again.
