TDS Festival of Dance IX 2025

We’re thrilled to announce the return of The Dance Society of Malaysia’s Festival of Dance – coming this September 2025!

This celebration is open to everyone — dancers, artists, movers, and dance lovers of all backgrounds. Whether you’re a performer, choreographer, student, or simply someone who loves movement, this is your space to connect, explore, and celebrate dance.

For over 30 years, the Society has focused on classical ballet training as a foundation. Now, we’re expanding into a broader spectrum — not only ballet and contemporary, but also cultural and traditional dances, including Malay, Chinese, Indian, and other ethnic forms.

We believe this expansion will enrich learning, create space for exchange of ideas, and honour the diversity of dance in Malaysia.

无论你是表演者、编舞者、学生，还是单纯喜爱身体律动的人，这里是你探索、交流与庆祝舞蹈艺术的平台。

过去30年来，本会一直以古典芭蕾作为舞蹈训练的基础。现在，我们将拓展舞蹈种类，涵盖不仅限于芭蕾与当代舞，更延伸至马来舞、华族舞、印度舞及其他民族传统舞蹈。

我们相信，这将是一次宝贵的学习旅程，也是一场技巧与文化的交流盛会，展现马来西亚多元舞蹈的魅力。
