You went there for one thing; a few stalls later\, your hands are full. \nFor IMMERSIO 2026\, PASAR becomes the starting point for more than 100 artists and creative technologists from Malaysia and across Asia\, each offering their own take on its encounters\, exchanges\, cultures and beautiful chaos through more than 70 works spanning digital and interactive art\, projection\, sculpture\, visual works and performance. \nIMMERSIO is a biennial new media art festival by Filamen that invites audiences to experience art beyond the usual gallery setting. For its 2026 edition\, the familiar world of PASAR becomes something to look at again and experience it differently. \nAt GMBB\, Level 5 becomes the festival’s main exhibition space\, bringing together many interpretations of PASAR. Originally staged in 2012\, ‘The Whale’ was adapted by Darren Aronofsky into the film of the same name in 2022 and earned two Oscars at the 95th Academy Awards in 2023\, including one for Best Actor by Brendan Fraser for his portrayal as Charlie. ‘The Whale’ is a stark but intimate exploration of faith\, redemption\, and the ever-ubiquitous human need for connection.

DESCRIPTION:ABOUT THE PLAY \n“Socrates in D# Minor” is an experimental tetralogy that explores the complexities of existential ideology within the subjective realities of human experience. Using scientific theories as the vehicles for narrative\, the tetralogy features a 4-episode performance with different facets of existential philosophies. \nEpisode I: Kisah Fenomena Big Bang (The Big Bang Phenomenon)\, is a play about sperm race and conception\, and the inception of the first existential thought. \nEpisode II: Kisah Teori Evolusi (The Evolution Theory)\, is a play about human evolutionary line\, and the existentialist rejection of the essentialist categorization based on biological markers. \nEpisode III: Kisah Paradoks Fermi (The Fermi Paradox)\, is a play about psychotic delusions about the existence of alien life forms\, and the existentialist dilemma on God’s existence. \nEpisode IV: Kisah Teori Kewujudan Zarah (The Particle Theory of Matter)\, is a play about death\, the soul\, and the existentialist acceptance on the probability of non-existence.  \nThe performance will be mainly in Malay. \nTENTANG PEMENTASAN INI \n“Socrates in D# Minor” adalah sebuah tetralogi eksperimental yang meneroka kompleksiti ideologi eksistensialis dalam realiti subjektif pengalaman manusia.
