DESCRIPTION:羅國文以其獨特的劇場美學，與臺灣劇作家簡莉穎冷靜犀利的文本正面撞擊——從上一代秘而不宣的陰暗中層層窺探，一個虛幻與謊言共構共生的亞洲家庭故事。 \n將對已故丈夫的怨憎，轉移投射到親兒子身上的母親；汲汲營營以求擁有完美家庭假象的養子，在兩個男人之間遊移不定的媳婦，展開兩代人之間相互對峙的家庭謊言、親情綁架與儒家倫理角力。 \n由多位獲獎無數的大馬資深劇場工作者參與製作：著名造型設計師呂素君、獨⽴⾳樂人李河健、影像設計師Fairuz Sulaiman、舞台設計師曾維凌以及燈光設計師林偉星，聯合實力打造。 \nLoh Kok Man’s distinctive theatrical language collides head-on with Chien Li-Ying’s sharp and unflinching writing. Together\, they peel back layer after layer of the darkness left unspoken by the previous generation\, revealing an Asian family built on illusion\, secrets and lies. \nA mother who transfers her resentment towards her late husband onto her own son. An adopted son desperately clinging to the illusion of a perfect family. A daughter-in-law caught between two men. \nAcross two generations\, a battle unfolds — one shaped by family lies\, emotional entrapment and the weight of Confucian morality. \nThe production brings together an accomplished award-winning team of Malaysian theatre practitioners\, including renowned costume designer Beatrice Looi\, independent musician Kent Lee\, multimedia designer Fairuz Sulaiman\, set designer Wei Lin\, and lighting designer Sing Lim.
