SUMMARY:Chinatown Cultural Walk: Tales of Chinese Migrants\, Diverse Society and Traditional Trades
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a leisurely two-hour walk in Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown\, a historic area that has a rich past and a diverse culture. This Chinatown walk is tip-based and on average\, people have been tipping our knowledgeable tour guides between RM50 and RM65 per person. \nOur licensed tourist guides will share fascinating stories about Chinatown’s heritage. You’ll hear about people who lived there in the past and those who live there now\, many of whom are keeping alive traditional trades and crafts. \nWe’ll show you pre-war shophouses with their original facades and numerous eateries that you can check out later yourselves. Chinatown is not only known for its traditional food; you can also find flavourful fusion dishes that are a blend of Asian and Western cuisines. The area is now a popular hub for trendy\, modern cafés\, bars and restaurants. \nThere are numerous rejuvenation projects in Chinatown and many colourful murals that depict the people and character of the area past and present. \nOur walks are interactive; traders are happy to stop and chat with participants. Young participants are most welcome; we enjoy engaging with the young people who join us.  \nSertai kami dalam jejak warisan di Chinatown\, Kuala Lumpur. Jom teroka kawasan bersejarah ini yang kaya dengan kepelbagaian budaya. Lawatan ini adalah berdasarkan sumbangan; secara purata\, orang ramai telah memberi sumbangan kepada pemandu kami yang berpengalaman sebanyak RM50 hingga RM65 setiap seorang. \nPemandu pelancong kami yang bertauliah akan berkongsikan cerita-cerita menarik tentang warisan Chinatown. Anda akan mendengar kisah-kisah penduduk terdahulu dan mereka yang masih menetap di sini—ramainya masih mengekalkan pertukangan dan perdagangan barang tradisional. \nKami juga akan membawa anda ke rumah-rumah kedai zaman pra-perang yang muka bangunannya masih asli. Kawasan di sekitar ini kini menjadi hab popular dengan deretan kafe moden\, bar dan restoran yang bergaya. \nSelain itu\, terdapat pelbagai projek pencergasan yang sedang berlaku di Chinatown. Peserta dapat menyaksikan mural warna-warni yang mencerminkan kebudayaan setempat. \nLawatan kami bersifat interaktif: anda boleh berbual dengan para peniaga di tepi jalan.
