DESCRIPTION:Mark your date! \nDate: 1st – 3rd Aug 2025\nTime: 11am – 7pm\nVenue: Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) \nKL Zine etc. is a three-day festival aimed at celebrating and promoting zine culture\, self-publishing\, local history\, cultural writing\, and the DIY spirit. \nThis festival seeks to strengthen the local creative community and foster cultural exchange by providing a platform for local readers and zine makers to showcase\, learn and collaborate. \nWe invite around 30 zine makers and independent publishers from local and other Asia regions including Singapore\, Indonesia\, China\, Taiwan\, Hong Kong to participate. We are also curating a series of events\, including zine contest\, zine exhibition\, talks and workshops by inviting practitioners from the field to share their zine experiences. \nYou are a zinester but can’t make it to KL Zine etc. in person? We still want your work to be part of the festival!
