DESCRIPTION:On 9 February 2026\, legendary French theatre master and pedagogue Philippe Gaulier passed away in Paris at the age of 82 due to complications from a lung infection. \nOver the past decades\, his singular approach to teaching profoundly influenced actors\, directors\, and creators around the world. His philosophy of Le Jeu (“Play”) not only transformed acting methods\, but fundamentally reshaped the way performance itself is understood. \nPhilippe Gaulier is widely regarded as one of the most influential and revolutionary theatre teachers of our time.
