Origins & Social Life Discover how Ronggeng emerged as a popular social dance and music culture in Kuala Lumpur\, bringing together diverse communities across the city’s nightlife districts. \n2. Multicultural Exchange Explore Ronggeng as a shared cultural space shaped by Malay\, Chinese\, Indian and other communities\, reflecting the layered histories of urban Kuala Lumpur. \n3. DESCRIPTION:Ronggeng Kuala Lumpur 2026 presents a dynamic two-hour live performance celebrating one of the city’s most iconic social dance and music traditions. \nOnce synonymous with Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant nightlife from the 1930s to the 1960s\, Ronggeng was a communal space where music\, dance and multicultural exchange came alive.
